Nest Summer Fellowship

In my three years as an International Studies major, I have learned that the one aspect of development I feel the strongest about is Female Empowerment. Nest is an ideal organization in promoting this empowerment, not only through education but through the development of business skills and giving women the opportunity to work on their own. I want to be a Nest Summer Fellow because I strongly believe in the Nest mission to empower female artisans all over the world and their micro-bartering system. I would like the opportunity to work with the organization in order to help it continue to grow. While I have experience working with Nest in the States, I would like to opportunity to work hands on with the artisans and see the other aspects of the Nest three-part micro-barter model in person.
